In fact, it was the same drunken night that she ended up sleeping with him on his bed, waking up to her little buns staring at her suspiciously. This time however, was different. They were a couple now and she definitely wasn’t ready to cross the line with him yet. 

Moreover, Tang Moyu also didn’t want her children to misunderstand. Although she couldn’t stop them from calling Feng Tianyi ‘Daddy Ji’, she still didn’t know how to make it clear that he wasn’t their daddy. 

It was one thing to accept him as her lover, but she didn’t want to give her children false hope; that they would eventually gain a father in the future, when in fact she wasn’t even certain how it would end up between her and Feng Tianyi. 

Also, she hadn’t forgotten how her daughter had found them in an awkward position on the same bed they were on! Just the mere thought of it made her suffer from a second-hand shame. 

Tang Moyu wasn’t planning to stay with them for the night and wanted to go back to the main house like she usually did. But Feng Tianyi was right, it was already too late and she didn’t have enough energy to walk over to her house, much her bedroom at this rate. 

She wordlessly followed him inside, accepted the spare clothes she’d left before, and taken a shower in his massive bathroom, which was attached to his bedroom. The twins were still snoring and peacefully sleeping right next door.

For a moment, she thought of how homey the atmosphere was and how her twins seemed to have easily accepted that their lives had dramatically changed since their return. Perhaps, she might be worrying too much about them possibly having a hard time settling down in a new place and accepting Feng Tianyi in their lives.

When she stepped out of the bathroom, dressed in a long white shirt that was a little strained around her chest area, Feng Tianyi was already seated on the bed, reading some documents in his hands. 

“What is it?” She asked as she took a seat on the edge of the bed with a towel on her head. Her long hair was still wet and she needed time to dry it before she could sleep. 

“The copy of the bid we made against Han Corporation.” He replied before keeping the papers back in a manila envelope and setting it aside. “Come here. Let me help you dry your hair. You are rubbing it too hard.”

He gestured for her to move closer to him. Tang Moyu stared at him for a moment. She was a bit skeptical about sharing the bed with him, but she couldn’t squeeze herself to sleep with her little buns, considering how small the bed was. 

Feng Tianyi quickly recovered from his shock, took the towel from her hands, and started working on her long wet hair. 

Tang Moyu noticed that although he wasn’t very experienced in doing the task, Feng Tianyi’s hands were exceptionally gentle as he worked on her long hair. He made sure not to tug or pull her hair to avoid hurting her. 

Soon, when he was pleased with his work, he started to lightly massage her scalp, earning a relieved sigh from her lips. Feng Tianyi was really good at giving massages. She couldn’t help but let her eyes droop in contentment. 

After he helped her dry her hair, Feng Tianyi excused himself and went to take a shower. Tang Moyu was left alone on his massive bed, wondering what to do next. Her eyes then caught the documents the devil was reading earlier and her curiosity got the best of her. 

She took it from his nightstand, sat down on the bed with her back propped up and supported by a pillow, before reading the document for the bid she collaborated with him. 

Tang Moyu was impressed with how the bid was meticulously planned and detailed by Feng Tianyi in such a short span of time. Although there were certain parts that are pending for final amendments, she knew that it was good enough to secure the partnership, stealing the project from the Han family. 

Soon, Feng Tianyi, who was now in his pajamas, returned from the bathroom. Glancing at him, Tang Moyu realized that she rarely saw him like this. Normally, when she was at home, he would be dressed in a plain dress shirt and slacks. So, seeing him in pajamas was rare, especially for those who don’t spend the night here, unlike her little buns. 

Seeing that the empress already settled on his bed, Feng Tianyi moved out of his wheelchair to the bed with ease and took the spot next to her. 

“What do you think? Is it good?” He inquired, curious if she approved of it. 

Since Tang Moyu got the better head between the two of them when it comes to making deals and proposals, it was only natural for Feng Tianyi to ask for her opinion. 

“Very good.” Tang Moyu admitted, before returning the bunch of documents back to where she took it. “I think you’ve given them a good bait. I doubt that they could ignore it even if they want to.” 

The Han family could only blame Han Shaohui for losing the status and fame they had for abusing Tang Wanyu and offending both the empress and the devil at the same time. Since they were fond of power tripping, let’s see if they would be able to endure the backlash that was about to hit them soon.
