After breakfast, Yan Qingsi lied down. She was still tired, but she wasn’t fatigued. She scrolled on her phone and received the script that Song Qingyan circulated, and out of boredom, she looked through it.

Song Qingyan’s script had no title. He said he had yet to think of a name for it. This was his own script, with comedy, mystery, and suspense!

Yan Qingsi did not particularly like the script as she read through it. She felt that someone like her could play a lot of complex parts, but a comedy… she was worried that she could not carry it. She had no way of feeling genuinely happy, how was she going to make others happy?

However, Song Qingyan was very earnest. He said no matter what, please do not turn it down first, but instead finish reading the script. After finishing it, if she still felt that it would not work, he would not impose.

Yan Qingsi agreed and lay on the bed going through it slowly. Yue Tingfeng did not disturb her. He took a call, changed, and walked over to kiss her. “If you get too tired, go to bed. I need to go out now. I’ll be right back, then let’s head for lunch.”

Yan Qingsi was too engrossed reading the script and did not look at him. She nodded absentmindedly. “Hm, okay…”

He quickly pulled away Yan Qingsi’s phone and leaned down to bite her lip. Before she could explode, he quickly slipped away and went out.

When the door closed, Yan Qingsi felt her lips and smiled to herself.

Yue Tingfeng at times could be childish, but he was very sincere. He looked at her in a way that was completely different from the people around her. In front of Yan Qingsi, he was his most honest self, without haughtiness, wealth, or aloofness.

Yue Tingfeng gave Yan Qingsi his warmth and love with utmost sincerity. He was like a normal boy chasing after a girl. He also hoped that Yan Qingsi would treat him like any normal girl would, and accept his feelings.

That warmth permeated into Yan Qingsi’s heart and made her feel more and more human.

Yue Tingfeng had just left, when the doorbell rang.

Yan Qingsi opened the door and Ji Mianmian dashed in. She stared around for a long while, before realizing that Yue Tingfeng had left, and quickly made her way inside.

“Sis, I have something to tell you.”

Yan Qingsi could tell that Ji Mianmian was very nervous, and asked, “What’s going on?”

“Last night Ye Shaoguang came to me and said that he has done as you asked. However, You Xi didn’t want to say anything and told Ye Shaoguang to tell you, if you really want to know, bring the necklace yourself and go look for him. Oh, and Ye Shaoguang has to bring you there.”

After hearing this, Yan Qingsi immediately asked, “Where is Ye Shaoguang?”

“He’s gone, he left in the morning.”

Ji Mianmian remembered falling asleep on the sofa, but when she opened her eyes she was on the bed, and Ye Shaoguang was nowhere to be seen.

Ji Mianmian felt that at times, Ye Shaoguang wasn’t as bad as he seemed.

Yan Qingsi’s lips moved, her face a visage of shock.

“You… last night, you spent the night… with Ye Shaoguang?”

Ji Mianmian nodded and replied, “Yeah, that b*stard is so shameless. He was fighting over the bed with me, and threatened to refuse to bring you to see You Xi tomorrow if I kicked him out.”
