Mrs. Yue smacked him on the shoulder. “Cut off ties with her now. She’s not an option and together, you two are no good for each other. Break it off before someone gets dragged through the mud. Find a nice girl, get married, and live a good life.”

Yue Tingfeng gave up arguing. After all, his words meant nothing to his mother. He replied lazily, “And if she doesn’t want to leave me?”

“Pay her more. Her type usually just wants money to spend.”

A smile graced Yue Tingfeng’s features as he said, “Ma…As you said, I’m not a good man. Why should I go and soil another family’s daughter? I could just play around with the one outside. After all, we’re similar in nature and there won’t be collateral damage.”

Mrs. Yue’s expression changed. “Are you serious?”

The two finally walked out of the bedroom. Yan Qingsi had served herself a bowl of chicken soup as if it was her own home. She said to them, “My bad. I was hungry and couldn’t help myself.”
