Yue Tingfeng crossed the road and made his way to his car. At about three to four meters away, he heard someone calling out his name, “Tingfeng.”

Yue Tingfeng turned around and spotted Helan Fangnian.

Helan Fangnian looked so proper in his well fitted black suit and striped tie. He stood at the side of the road, looking smart and successful. His handsome face was wearing a surprised look.

Yue Tingefeng had the congee and bao in his hand. He was dressed in just a simple shirt with his sleeves rolled up to the elbow, showing off his strong and muscular arm. His messy hair was blowing over his tired face, a slight melancholy took possession of his charming face.

The two handsome men stood there like the image of a nice scenery. The sun was shining brightly above their heads but they looked more fascinating than the beaming sunshine. The passers-by turned their heads to look at such an unwonted sight.

Yue Tingfeng was taken aback. He did not expect to bump into Helan Fangnian as soon as he arrived back in Luo City. What more this early in the morning on a street.

Yue Tingfeng cast a glance over his shoulder into the car instinctively. For some inexplicable reason, he felt a little nervous.

Yan Qingsi was there in the passenger seat. She had her blanket pulled over her head and covered up her face, only showing her scattered long hair.

Yue Tingfeng subconsciously let out a sigh of relief. He turned around with a grin on face and asked, “Why are you here?”

Helan Fangnian went right up to Yue Tingfeng, curled his lips and replied, “I should be asking you the same question. I haven’t got any news from you in a while, man. You look like you haven’t gotten any sleep at all. Where exactly have you been? Been up to mischief?”

Yue Tingfeng raised his eyebrows, “Is it that obvious?”

‘Could he really see that I was up to no good?’

“Do you know what your eyes look like? You look like you have got the Red Eye Disease.”

Yue Tingfeng did not want Helan Fangnin to know what he did night before, so he quickly changed the subject, “Yea, I didn’t get enough rest. Why are you dressed like that? Are you going to a matchmaking event?”

Helan Fangnian did not expose Yue Tingfeng’s intention. He replied, “No. I found a nice place to set up my law firm. I am here to negotiate the selling price today.”

Yue Tingfeng looked Helan Fangnian up and down and commented, “Tsk, you gave up your established career overseas and came back to start afresh. Are you really not going back?”

Helan Fangnian glanced over at Yue Tingfeng’s car and said, “I am looking for someone and it’s taking longer than I expected. I can’t leave just yet so I thought to set up a new firm here and recruit some lawyers. I figured lawyers are more resourceful than a normal person and could help me to find the person quicker.”

Yue Tingfeng nodded, “Well this place is nice. Price is rather reasonable. Beware, don’t be cheated.”

Helan Fangnian laughed, “Who am I? Can a lawyer be deceived so easily? What about you? What are you doing? Buying breakfast from a roadside vendor. This is not the Yue Tingfeng that I know.”

Helan Fangnian pointed at Yue Tingfeng’s car and asked, “Did you get breakfast for someone in your car? You’re a changed man after not seeing you for a while. I can’t believe it. Aren’t you gonna introduce me to her?”

Yue Tingfeng said scornfully, “I am hungry so I got something to eat. She is just a simple lady, not qualified to eat the things that I bought at all. There is no need for an introduction. She is not my future wife.”

Yue Tingfeng did not want Yan Qingsi to meet Helan Fangnian.

Helan Fangnian lifted his brows and said, “Alright, I’ll take your words for now.”

Yue Tingfeng thought that the congee will be cold soon if he did not go back instantly, so he said, “I’ve things to do. Gotta go. See you later.”

Helan Fangnian agreed and said, “Let’s go out for a drink tonight if you are free.”

“Let’s see how it goes in the evening.” Yue Tingfeng waved goodbye as he hurried into his car.
