‘Click’ Yan Qingsi turned on the lights over the headboard of her bed.

The warm light was a contrast to Yan Qingsi’s blazing eyes. “What exactly do you want? Have sex?” she asked scornfully.

Yan Qingsi’s tongue was covered with wounds from the incident earlier. She had only felt the headache when she woke up just now.

As her head got clearer, she could feel the dull pain coming from her tongue. It hurt so much, especially when she talked and the side of her teeth brushed against her tongue.

Yue Tingfeng was fuming inside, he was struggling to talk. “You… Yan Qingsi, aren’t you grateful at all?”

He was a man with raging hormones. Of course he wanted to sleep with Yan Qingsi! But, how could Yan Qingsi have said it so casually when he could not even bring himself to say it out loud. He felt humiliated.

“Yo, Mr. Yue. Don’t act all innocent now. I’m not into it. I’m not all pure and naive. I’m also ungrateful so don’t expect me to thank you,” Yan Qingsi jeered.

Although she was thankful that Yue Tingfeng rescued her, she could never forget what had happened before. She could not move on from it.

Yue Tingfeng was burning inside. He could explode, but then he saw Yan Qingsi’s tired face. Her eyes were red and her lips were pursed. He had to swallow his anger.

Yue Tingfeng nodded. “Alright, you’re not innocent but I am. Is that ok? Let’s sleep!”

He turned around and pulled the blanket over himself. His back facing Yan Qingsi. Obviously, he was sick of her.

Yan Qingsi rolled her eyes. She peeped at the time. It was 4 o’clock in the morning.

Yan Qingsi laid down but she could not sleep. She could not stop thinking of the dangerous situation that they were in.

Yes, it was true that she had to thank Yue Tingfeng.

But Yan Qingsi could not say it out loud. She was not being emotional. She hated this man a lot and remembers very vividly how he humiliated her.
